I am usually into spicy and hot
food .However, off late I have been having a huge craving for sweets and
chocolate. I have been making lot of desserts and eating a third of it. As I am in a hurry to eat most of the time, I
am ransacking my brain for easy and instant recipes. Here is one such chocolate
barfi. It is very simple, needs very few ingredients and is ready in a jiffy.
This always reminds me of my childhood days. My aunt (‘pachi- Konkani word for aunt’ /mom’s
sister) used to often prepare this (and still does). She always made it when we visited her, which
was quite often. The last time I savored
this barfi was during my mehendi when my aunt took me completely by surprise by
getting this for me. Since it has been quite some time I decided to prepare
this dessert. However, it lacked something – probably my pachi’s touch.
