Peking Tom - An Experience

A friend of mine visited Peking Tom a few weeks back and could not stop raving about it.  Being a foodie I had to visit this place. Finally last Saturday I had the opportunity to set foot in this restaurant with my husband.
Here is my experience:
It was 10 in the night and the place was pretty packed. The restaurant has a typical Chinese décor and is set up with red Chinese chandeliers. It is dimly lit which gave the feel of a candle light dinner environment. However, the funky Asian fusion hit music of Stereo Nation made the place very lively and energetic.

Peking Tom specializes in Chinese and Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive with chicken, lamb, pork and seafood to choose from.

The tom yum soup was a little tangy, a little spicy and very tasty. I was a little sceptical about Tom Yum (because of a bad experience in the past). But this one changed my opinion.
The TShangai chicken and Red Chilli squid (suggested by the waiter) for starters were simply

delectable. Squid was cooked to perfection as was the chicken.Vegetable Peking Rice and Chicken Chilli Garlic were simply delicious.

Lastly
Located on a not so wide street and surrounded by many others restaurants, parking would have been a problem. But valet parking saved us the time and pain of finding a parking spot, hence making this a lovely evening .The food, the ambience and the extremely courteous and polite staff, make Peking Tom an absolute winner. The cost of dining for two is around 1200/- and is acceptable given the tasty food.
Verdict: Highly recommended.
